This is an important reminder for patients currently enrolled in the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP).

The current CDCP benefit period is expected to end on June 30, 2026, with the new benefit year beginning on July 1, 2026. As part of this transition, many patients are required to review, update, and in some cases re-apply through the Government of Canada CDCP portal to maintain continuous dental coverage.

If the required renewal or update is not completed, there may be a gap in coverage after June 30, 2026, and services provided during that period may not be eligible for reimbursement.

What to do now:

• Log in to the official Government of Canada CDCP portal
• Confirm your eligibility and renewal status
• Complete any required update or re-application as soon as possible

Maintaining active coverage ensures continued access to eligible dental care with reduced out-of-pocket costs.

We encourage all CDCP patients to take action early to avoid any interruption in benefits.
